I walked with the sunshine once

37654_1153521373835_4629096_n I walked with the sunshine once

Hand in hand on a dense dark hill,

Morning dawned as we enjoyed the thrill.

A beautiful kiss,

And some happy talks,

Hand in hand we enjoyed the bliss.

A soft touch of mine,

Magic you called,

The sun god smiled,

While the cynics growled.

Birds chatted and the leaves did roar,

When a few monkeys enjoyed the show,

As hand in hand we walked a few miles more.

Some untold promises you made,

Some unknown feelings you revealed,

And in your eyes I left all my dreams.

Days passed, the arena changed,

While my time still stands still,

You think yours have moved on to more.

The sun god still smiles at me,

Hand in hand he now walks with me.

He shows me the path, I tell him the way,

Everyday we both move closer,

To the street where you stay.

From the heights of the sky,

I see my dreams still locked in your eyes.

Even as you remain silent,

The magic I gave you,

Now plays in your hands.

The wanderer I am, I gave you this life.

I gave you the shine that was mine.

Though the sun god is lonely just as me,

And why can’t we be without you sunshine?

Times are changing, it has always changed,

And in this life we will meet again.

On that day don’t fail to recognise me,

Just touch my hand and return the magic you owe,

I will go away and my time would again pass slow.

For thousand more years with the sun god,

Till we three be together,

On some other earth, in some other life.
